Kayak on Uros – Amantani and Taquile (2D 1N)


We begin this wonderful adventure Kayaking on Uros floating islands, Amantani and Taquile (2D 1N) with pickup and transfer from your hotel in Puno to the Esteves Island at about 7:30 AM, where we will receive all instructions and professional kayak equipment necessary to make appropriate use of the kayak, then we will go sailing on kayak toward Uros floating island, paddling for approximately 1 hour.

At all times we will be accompanied by a professional instructor security and  a motorized boat for support.

During the journey we will appreciate the biodiversity of Lake Titicaca (Flora and Fauna), we will see and play the totota reed that is the raw material of the existence of Uros floating islands, see also a rocky island and the most beautiful views of the lake Titicaca. Finally we arrive at the Uros, where local people will give us a warm welcome and our guide will give us a full explanation this fascinating Culture.

After our tour on Uros floating islands we will take our motorboat to take us to Amantani Island where we will recepcionados by family hostess that they provide us room and meals sharing unforgettable experiences.

The next day after breakfast we heading towards Taquile Island famous as declared by their tissues by UNESCO as "Cultural Heritage of humanity" after lunch in Taquile return to Puno city by 03:30 pm to take you to your hotels.

Important information for the kayak tour!
  • You do not need experience with kayaks.
  • We will have a professional instructor in a kayak.
  • There will be at all times a motorized boat and support staff.
  • We have safe, comfortable and professional kayaks.
  • Approximate kayaking (1 hour) from the island Estebes to the floating islands of the Uros.
  • There are available single and couple kayaks.
  • Average water temperature in the lake 9th. 

Day 01

 Pick up from your hotel in Puno to the Estebes island  7:00 AM
 Receiving equipment and instructions by the guide  7:15 AM
 Departure on Kayak to Uros floating island (1 hour paddling)  7:30 AM
 Arrival at Uros and explanation of our guide  8:30 AM
 Departure by motor boat to Amantani island  9:45 AM
 Arrival at Amantani Island  1:00 PM
 Lunch with local family  2:00 PM
 Hike to the top of the island (01 hour) to see the sunset and Pachatata and Pachamama hills  4:00 PM
 Return and dinner at the family home  6:00 PM
 Dancing and celebration with the people (optional)  8:00 PM

Day 02

 Breakfast on the island of Amantani  7:00 AM
 Departure Port Amantani to Taquile  8:00 AM
 Arrival north of Taquile and walk to the square  9:00 AM
 Arrival at the main square of the village  10:30 AM
 Lunch (included).  12:00 PM
 Return from Taquile to Puno.   1:30 PM
 Arrival in Puno and transfer to hotels.  4:00 PM

  • Motorboats.

  • Spanish / English guide.
  • Entrances fees to Uros, Amatani and Taquile.

Bring wearing something light and a windproof jacket (it is very hot and sometimes windy), comfortable walking shoes, hat or cap, sunscreen and water bottles.


  • Wear light clothing and also warm, the weather in the mornings is cold, at noon hot
