This &#8220;Apu&#8221; bearer of life is the guardian of one of the most pristine ecosystems in the world. Thus, our hike will be accompanied by snow-capped peaks, glaciers, herds of llamas and alpacas, etc. This hike offers a selection of wildlife and breathtaking scenery.<\/p>\r\n<p>We will pick you up at your respective hotel at 3:45 AM, to then begin our incredible adventure driving 3 hours in our private van through the South Valley passing through different villages such as Urcos, Quiquijana until we arrive to the village of Cusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast, then we will continue our journey to the beginning of the trail called Phulawasipata (4,600 m \/ 15,091 ft.). Along this trail there are breathtaking views of agricultural terraces, canyons and snow-capped mountains.<\/p>\r\n<p>Once you reach the beginning of the trail our guide will give you a short instruction of the area and the last scopes to finally begin a walk of approximately 1.5 hours by a moderate climb. During the journey we will have the opportunity to appreciate a variety of South American camelids, spectacular ecosystems of this place and beautiful views of the snowy Ausangate.<\/p>\r\n<p>At approximately 10:00 we will arrive at our destination called Vinicunca or Rainbow Mountain (5,020 m \/ 16,466 ft.). Here you will have enough time to enjoy this unique landscape that the geography capriciously formed and you will also be able to take spectacular views of this place that seems painted by hand and brush.
