Discover the Magic of Lake Titicaca: A Trip to Uros, Amantani and Taquile
DAY 1: CULTURAL EXPLORATION IN UROS AND AMANTANI
Embark on an unforgettable adventure to the heart of Lake Titicaca, starting your day in the vibrant port of Puno. Aboard a comfortable and safe boat, we will head towards the fascinating Floating Islands of the Uros. Here, you will have the unique opportunity to get to know the life and traditions of its inhabitants up close, visiting 2 emblematic islands.
The adventure continues to the island of Amantani, a trip that reveals impressive aquatic landscapes for approximately 2 and a half hours. Upon arrival, you will be warmly received by local families, who will invite you to share their daily life and hospitality.
After a short 30-minute journey, gently ascending along paths surrounded by natural panoramas, you will arrive at the cozy houses of Amantani. Here, you will enjoy an exquisite lunch prepared with the freshest Andean ingredients. Once our energies are recharged, we will venture to the ancient Inca ceremonial temples of "Pachamama" and "Pachatata", located at the top of the island. This sacred place is not only a site of deep spirituality but also the perfect spot to admire panoramic views of the lake and witness one of the most spectacular sunsets in the world.
Night falls, but the fun doesn't end. Take part in a festive welcome organized by local families. Music, dance and traditional clothing await you in a celebration that promises to be as authentic as it is emotional.
DAY 2: CHARM AND TRADITION IN TAQUILE
After a comforting breakfast overlooking the lake, we will say goodbye to Amantani to head towards Taquile Island. This place is a treasure of living traditions, famous for its impressive textiles and crafts, recognized worldwide. The Taquileños will offer us an immersion in their customs, through dances and presentations that reflect their rich cultural heritage.
We will continue our exploration with a typical lunch, where each bite is a tribute to local gastronomy. While you're here, don't miss the opportunity to take in the stunning views of Lake Titicaca, a perfect setting to reflect and admire the beauty that surrounds you.
We will conclude our visit to Taquile by descending towards its port, from where we will return to Puno, arriving at approximately 03:30 pm.
Join us on this journey of discovery and cultural connection, where every day is full of natural beauty, ancient traditions and unforgettable moments. Live the magic of Lake Titicaca and take with you memories that you will treasure forever.
