Description (PUNO - SILLUSTANI - LAMPA - PUCARA – AYAVIRI/TINAJANI)
This tour begins at 6:30 AM. We will pick you up from your hotel and our first stop will be "SILLUSTANI" at 7:15 AM where we will see the famous Chullpas or funeral towers that rise up to 12 meters high and the beauty of the Umayo lagoon surrounding this cemetery.
We continue our tour and headed to "LAMPA" reaching approx. 10:00 AM to visit the Santiago Apostol church that was built in 1975 where we see the replica of the sculpture of “La Piedad de Miguel Angel”, the famous catacombs and the colonial bridge of Calicanto.
We continue our journey and reached Pucara approx. 11:45 AM here we will visit the archaeological site of Kalasaya where we see anthropomorphic sculptures and also we will visit the Stone museum. After these visits have lunch (box lunch).
Finally we continue to our final destination "Tinajani Canyon" located in Ayaviri town where we arrive approx. 3:00 pm
Famous for its forest of volcanic rocks over 50 meters high where nature sculpted so glad this place, we will discover different geological formations. In the area there are 3 sources (baths) lytic dug by the waterfall, which give the same name to the place, where according to legend supernatural beings tend to swim in these baths.
The truth is that it is an ideal place of positive energy and mysticism highland place.
And ending this wonderful tours we return to Puno city at 04:30 to arrive at 07:00 pm
