Tour Aramu muru – Hayu marca (1 day)

Aramu Muru - Hayu Marca or also known as Willka Uta, is located 70 km. South of the city of Puno, it is a door carved from a single piece of rock almost 7 meters high, it was carved by the descendants of the Tiahuanaco culture, who captured a model of the Puerta del Sol. It is undoubtedly one of the most mystical, enigmatic and energetic places that exist in Lake Titicaca, surrounded by a charming landscape (forest of stones), where there are also other rock formations that enhance the mystical spirit of the place.

On this tour we will also make a stop in CHUCUITO, to visit the INCA UYO (temple of fertility) Inca ceremonial complex of rectangular shape that contains phallic monuments (penises), where sacred rituals of payment to the Pachamama (Andean fertility) and sun worship in addition to being used as an astronomical observatory.

Then we will continue to our destination ARAMU MURO.

When we return we will make a last stop at the TOTORA MUSEUM (Optional), located 7 km from the city of Puno, we will be able to appreciate well-made works based on totora, built entirely of this material, reviving the artisan spirit of the people from Chimú.
