The duration of this trip Bus Puno – Copacabana (Tourist Service) is 02:45 minutes approximately from the city of Puno to Kasani (Peru – Bolivia Border) and at the border we will proceed with the immigration paperwork (20 to 30 minutes) continuing with the trip after 30 minutes we will arrive to Copacabana, known for its beautiful islands of the sun and the moon and religious celebrations.

During the trip we will be able to contemplate the beauty of Lake Titicaca since the route is along the lake, the buses are tourist buses with on board service.

Total duration: 03:30 hours approximately and there is only one bus departure time from Puno:

Important

GENERAL INFORMATION:

There is a 1 hour difference in the Bolivian time compared to the Peruvian time (If in Peru it is 02:00 pm in Bolivia it is 03:00 pm).
We have to make a stop in Kasani (Peruvian – Bolivian border), in order to carry out the immigration process (presentation of passports and/or identity documents).
We recommend exchanging money in Kasani because the exchange rate is better at the border than in Bolivia, and you will find money exchange offices near the immigration office.
Once in Copacabana we will arrive at the bus terminal located at Av. 6 Agosto and Av. 16 Julio.

To cross into Bolivia, please keep the following in mind:
A valid passport with at least 6 months remaining validity. You must present it at the Desaguadero border crossing.
SIGEMIG Registration: We will assist you with this immigration process before you board the bus. For this process, each traveler must have their own registration, including minors, as required by the SIGEMIG system. Once completed, save the QR code on your cell phone to present it at the Desaguadero border.
Tourist Visa: Citizens of the United States, Israel, and the European Union no longer require a visa to enter Bolivia for tourism (up to 90 days). However, some nationalities do need one. El viaje fue excelente y superó todas nuestras expectativas. Nos encantó tanto la pequeña isla flotante Uros de Olga como la isla Taquile con el baile folklórico y el almuerzo en el restaurante familiar de Juan. El guía (Manuel) fue el mejor guía que tuvimos en Perú. Manu era extremadamente conocedor y un verdadero políglota (hablaba Portugués, Francés, Italiano, Quechua y Aymara) con gran pronunciación Inglés. El clima era perfecto, lo que también contribuyó a una experiencia maravillosa. Muy recomendable.

Un recorrido muy bonito con grandes operadores y guías. Recogida suave del hotel y paseo en barco. Taquile era mejor que Uros Is, que estaban muy orientados al turismo.

Una experiencia maravillosa y totalmente recomendable. La atención por parte del guía, Jorge, estupenda, siempre atento y dando consejos. La acogida y la hospitalidad por parte de la familia en Amantaní, estupenda. Hay que agradecer a Jovita, nuestra “mami” en la isla, toda su atención y su cariño. Señalar que la subida al templo de Pachamama en Amantaní es algo dura, pero se puede hacer y vale la pena por la puesta de sol. La comida y la visita a Taquile también estupenda. Tenía miedo de que todo fuera un “espectáculo turístico”, pero nada más lejos de la realidad. En resumen: de las mejores experiencias de mi viaje a Perú.

Adaptamos nuestro tour Uros/Amantani/Taquile para que sea un tour privado para solo mi hija y yo para acomodar los horarios de vuelo.

Tuvimos un tiempo fantástico, añadiendo algunos extras como traslados al aeropuerto y montar a caballo en Amantani.

La señora de la reserva, el conductor, el capitán del barco, el propietario del alojamiento y nuestro guía Miguel, fueron todos profesionales que hicieron nuestro viaje suave, organizado, divertido e interesante. Todos fueron increíblemente útiles y fueron más allá. Recomendamos encarecidamente esta empresa a cualquiera.
