Puno – Copacabana – Sun Island (1 Day)
This tour starts at 7:00 a.m. with the pick up from your hotel to take you to the bus terminal, there we will take the bus to go through a paved road to Copacabana, located 151 km from the city of Puno, in a journey of approximately 3 hours and a half, the entire route borders Lake Titicaca.
Arrival in Copacabana approx. 12:00pm (Bolivian time), we have 1 hour and 30 minutes to have lunch and a guided tour of the church of Copacabana, your guide will contact you upon arrival of the bus.
After lunch at 13:30 p.m. approx. We begin our tour to the Isla del Sol (shared boat), crossing the lake for about an hour and a half to reach the southern part of the Isla del Sol, then a short walk down the steps of Yumani to reach the Fountain of Youth, There you can purify yourself by drinking some sacred water, it is believed that these waters are the fountain of eternal youth, where we will also enjoy the beauty of the Inca garden, after our visit we will return to Copacabana, to take the bus back to Puno or continue to La Paz.
NOTE: After the tour to the sun island in Copacabana, you can return to Puno (Peru) or if you wish you can continue to La Paz (Bolivia). THE PRICE IS THE SAME.

To cross into Bolivia during this tour, please keep the following in mind:
- A valid passport with at least 6 months remaining validity. You must present it at the Desaguadero border crossing.
- SIGEMIG Registration: We will assist you with this immigration process before you board the bus. For this process, each traveler must have their own registration, including minors, as required by the SIGEMIG system. Once completed, save the QR code on your cell phone to present it at the Desaguadero border.
- Tourist Visa: Citizens of the United States, Israel, and the European Union no longer require a visa to enter Bolivia for tourism (up to 90 days). However, some nationalities do need one. El mejor viaje de medio día al Lago Titicaca
El viaje fue excelente y superó todas nuestras expectativas. Nos encantó tanto la pequeña isla flotante Uros de Olga como la isla Taquile con el baile folklórico y el almuerzo en el restaurante familiar de Juan. El guía (Manuel) fue el mejor guía que tuvimos en Perú. Manu era extremadamente conocedor y un verdadero políglota (hablaba Portugués, Francés, Italiano, Quechua y Aymara) con gran pronunciación Inglés. El clima era perfecto, lo que también contribuyó a una experiencia maravillosa. Muy recomendable.
El mejor tour de la historia
Un gran tour. Las familias locales eran muy agradable y acogedor. La comida estaba deliciosa. La mejor gira que hemos hecho hasta ahora en Perú.
Tour interesante y valioso
Un recorrido muy bonito con grandes operadores y guías. Recogida suave del hotel y paseo en barco. Taquile era mejor que Uros Is, que estaban muy orientados al turismo.
Experiencia imprescindible si visitas Perú
Una experiencia maravillosa y totalmente recomendable. La atención por parte del guía, Jorge, estupenda, siempre atento y dando consejos. La acogida y la hospitalidad por parte de la familia en Amantaní, estupenda. Hay que agradecer a Jovita, nuestra “mami” en la isla, toda su atención y su cariño. Señalar que la subida al templo de Pachamama en Amantaní es algo dura, pero se puede hacer y vale la pena por la puesta de sol. La comida y la visita a Taquile también estupenda. Tenía miedo de que todo fuera un “espectáculo turístico”, pero nada más lejos de la realidad. En resumen: de las mejores experiencias de mi viaje a Perú.
Experiencia fantástica
Adaptamos nuestro tour Uros/Amantani/Taquile para que sea un tour privado para solo mi hija y yo para acomodar los horarios de vuelo.
Tuvimos un tiempo fantástico, añadiendo algunos extras como traslados al aeropuerto y montar a caballo en Amantani.
