Data processing for customer registration
In accordance with the Regulation of Lodging Establishments (D.S. N.º 001-2015-MINCETUR), we collect the following personal data at the time of registration:
- Names and surnames
- Nationality
- Sex
- Identity card number
- Assigned room
- Arrival and departure date
These data are mandatory to register your entry to the establishment and are stored in the database “Customers” owned by Puno Tours, with legal address at Calle Independencia 198, Puno. The data will be kept for a period of 2 years, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 29733 – Law on Protection of Personal Data and its regulations(S.D. No. 003-2013-JUS).
2. Data processing on the website
When you use the site www.punotours.com.pe, you agree that Puno Tours collects and treats your personal information, in accordance with Article 18 of Law No. 29733.
The data collected is stored in the database “Website Users”, and may include:
- Name and e-mail address
- Payment information (last 4 card numbers, expiration, CVC)
- Nationality
- Arrival/departure dates and other contracted services
- Special preferences (food, restrictions, etc.)
These data are used for:
- Process your reservation and payments
- Confirm and coordinate services
- Issue payment vouchers
- Internal purposes such as reports, statistical analysis, service improvement, among others.
- Fulfill legal or tax obligations
Important note: some of this information is hosted on GoDaddy.com servers (hosting provider), located in the United States, which implies a cross-border flow of data.
3. Minors
In the case of minors under 18 years of age, personal data is only collected with the express consent of parents or legal guardians, especially for the purpose of accommodation registration.
4. Confidentiality and security
Puno Tours guarantees the confidentiality of your information, applying technical and administrative measures to protect it against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or misuse.
We will only share your information with third parties in the following cases:
- With your express consent
- By legal requirement of competent authorities (Police, Prosecutor’s Office, Judiciary, SUNAT, etc.).
5. Data Retention
Your data will be stored for 2 years from the last interaction, or as long as required by legal regulations (such as those established by SUNAT). Once the term has expired, the data will be securely deleted.
