Lampa and Pucará Tour (1 Day)
Description:
This fascinating circuit takes us from the city of Puno to the northern Peruvian highlands, crossing Andean landscapes, villages with living history and cultural vestiges of great value. Our first stop will be in the charming colonial town of Lampa, known as the Pink City. Then we will continue to Pucará, cradle of one of the oldest and most enigmatic civilizations of the highlands, famous for its pottery, its lithic museum and its pyramidal constructions.
Pick up and transfer from hotels located in the city center. 15 minutes before scheduled pick up time.
Lampa – La Ciudad Rosada
Ubicada a 73 km de Puno, Lampa es conocida por su arquitectura colonial y su historia virreinal. Destacan:
- Templo de Santiago Apóstol: Con una réplica de La Piedad de Miguel Ángel y una cripta con restos óseos.
- Puente de Calicanto: El más bello puente colonial del altiplano.
- Calles y casonas antiguas que conservan el encanto del pasado.
